What We Do
Options Counseling
Our Options Counselor is available to help clients and their families sort through the services available, choose appropriate services and set up those services.
Long Term Care Ombudsman
Advocate for residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
SMP
Our agency participates in the Senior Medicare Patrol program that utilizes volunteers to help fight waste, fraud and abuse within the Medicare system by educating beneficiaries on how to track their medical expenses.
Adult and Disability Resource Center; Information and Assistance Program.
Providing Information, Referral and Assistance to elderly Montanans and Montanans with disabilities to help connect them to vital services. This service includes filling out applications for assistance programs like Medicaid and SNAP.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program
Food boxes for low-income Silver-Bow County residents who are 60 years or older.
STATE HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
We have counselors available to help Medicare Beneficiairies navigate the Meidicare system; including finding a drug plan, choosing a Supplement and comparing options.
Southwest Montana Aging and Disability Services offers Volunteer opportunities for all ages with most of our programs. We also work with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program to help place elder volunteers.
